Hayley has shown a very strong commitment to the financial planning profession, founding the Wealth Management Student Organization at UT McCombs School of Business and last year leading the NexGen Program of the FPA of Austin. This March, she became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. In addition, Hayley works closely with our Director of Financial Planning to drive innovation into our financial planning process.

Sujatha Theddu

After several years of helping to develop and lead the training for new analysts, as one of our more experienced custodial- paperwork processor, we are happy to announce Sujatha was promoted to Senior Implementation Analyst this year. In addition to her primary role, Sujatha tracks paperwork trends to reduce errors, and supports our billing efforts. Sujatha plays an integral part in driving a consistently excellent client experience.

After more than a year on our Implementation Team, Georgina, who began her career in financial services as a broker at Charles Schwab, has been promoted to Planning Analyst. There she will begin working with our advisors on modeling financial advice and supporting and documenting advice-based recommendations. Georgina has made it her mission to empower individuals and families to take control of their finances and reach their financial goals.

Taynia Vakapuna, CFP®

Hired as Planning Analyst

Upon graduating from the University of Utah, Taynia worked locally at a hybrid Registered Investment Advisory firm. There, she learned about the private investment space and real estate, while also creating and leading the financial planning department. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2022. Taynia has a strong sense of gratitude and desire to serve, and we are excited to have her as an asset on our team.

Alyssa Sternadel, CPA

Hired as Implementation Analyst

Alyssa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business in 2020 with her master’s in professional accounting. During 2021 she completed the educational, experience and ethical requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant. Alyssa spent a few years servicing large global clients in the public accounting sector and subsequently realized her desire to serve smaller, individual clients. Austin Private Wealth was exactly the kind of firm Alyssa was looking for, and she joined the team in March of 2023.

Please note, Austin Private Wealth, LLC is not a CPA firm and does not do tax preparation

Ginette Oskoui, MBA, CFP®

Retired from Investment Analyst

It is with a touch of sadness and profound thanks for years of service that we announce the retirement of Ginette Oskoui. Ginette “retired” from financial advising back in 2014 when she merged her firm with the predecessor to Austin Private Wealth. The partners asked Ginette to stay on in a part-time capacity to support our investment committee with research and analysis. Ginette continued in that role for almost ten years until the duties of being a grandmother to a growing band of local grandchildren became too much to ignore! Ginette has been an invaluable member of our team, a role model of integrity and hard work, and she will be deeply missed by all her colleagues.
